Trash & Recycling

American Disposal Commercial Services is the Towns trash & recycling company.

Recycle pickup is on Mondays, and Trash pickup is on Mondays and Thursdays.

The Town of Haymarket pays for all trash and recycle pickup for its residents.

If you are a new resident, and your trash bin was taken by the previous owner, please call the Town Hall at 703-753-2600, and we will contact American Disposal.

Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Special pick-ups:

If you find you need an additional pick-up of your dumpster, please contact their office.  They can provide a pick-up the same day or the following day for an additional charge to you.  Lumber, furniture, appliances, and other large miscellaneous items require special attention.  Please call their office in advance for pricing and to schedule.

They will NOT pick up:

Rocks, concrete, dirt, soil, sod, yard debris, tree stumps, paint, motor oil, combustible or flammable material and hazard or toxic materials.

IMPORTANT NOTICE -

HEAVY LAWN WATERERS

A Peak II Charge will apply during the warm, dry months to those customers who use 3 times the amount of water that they use in the winter months.

Effective May 1, 2008, a Peak II Charge of $3.15 per thousand gallons above the greater of 21,000 gallons or 3 times your winter average consumption (WAC) will apply to all residential households and sub-metered accounts.
